WebYoda Certifications History
The WebYoda certifications were the first nationally recognized webmaster certifications available. In October 1997, WebYoda, in partnership with Florida State University, began developing the first national webmaster certification standard. The first WebYoda certification was awarded on March 09, 1998. To date, WebYoda has awarded over 7802 certifications.

WCW Certification Overview
The WebYoda Certified Webmastertm (WCW)tm certification is our level 2 certification, which covers our second set of four core webmaster courses. The WCW certification is designed to improve a candidate's proficiency in a broad range of Internet-related subjects. This certification provides a solid foundation of skills needed to acquire a mid-level webmaster position or to building a web development business from the ground up. The WCW certification exam cannot be attempted without first passing the WAW certification exam. This exam is 64 questions, and students have 90 minutes to complete the exam, which is timed by our server. Candidates must score 70% or higher to pass this exam and be awarded the WCW certification.

WCW Courses
The WCW courses are those courses that directly prepare students to pass the WCW certification exam.
